Being in Salone Del Mobile 2015 Milano
There are some cities that you can catch the rhythm after one or two travels, you may even love it and then it becomes addictive. That’s exactly what happened to me in Milano. I have been looking forward to the salone del mobile furniture fair, which is held in April every year.
The exhibition, event, and definitely parties of many designers and design companies are held throughout the week called design week both in the exhibition area and in certain parts of the city.
Even though the fair period is a bit exhausting and crowded, I love this confusion, and art and design outburst from any street where you enter, from showcase display you look at, from an apartment that looks very ordinary at first glance
As if a lot of surprises waiting for you to discover and distributed to the city have been prepared. Throughout the design week, my favorite places are absolutely Viatortona, Brera and Corsocomo streets. These are the most entertaining and enjoyable places to explore during the design week. After completing to discover the exhibition area, even one or two days, when occasion serves, you must see them. Everything in Salone del mobile II fair has been considered and designed down to the last detail.
While all companies exhibit their collections, they are very careful about everything from stand designs to lighting and graphic design.
And at the end of the day, you will definitely enjoy aperitivo time between 18:00 and 22:00 with a cocktail that you order in all bars from the coolest to the most ordinary ones, the free and unlimited use of the open buffet or the snacks served by their cocktails. We preferred SUSHI B restaurant for bizbrera da aperativo and the cocktails and sushi were really delicious. I highly recommend it. Foscarini and Marcet are my favorite lighting brands. This year, both the collection and the way it was displayed were really successful. The traditional meal of Milano is ossobuco, served with saffron risotto. It was really delicious. This is a great alternative to pizza and pasta.
