Volvo Cafe

Scandinavian design principals determine the starting point of the Volvo cafe concept. We also wanted to carry this optimal chic reflecting to Volvo cars into cafe concept. In the space that is created by natural materials, the plants have an important place. On Wall panels, plants and natural materials are used together. Like Volvo which gains inspiration from the people and their needs and comfort, we also aim at relaxed and peaceful feelings for people by experiencing the space. The blue color in Volvo’s logo is used on geometric patterned-tile applied on the floor as small strains and on the whole ceiling. Geometric tile and massive diagonal parquet used on the floor are strong materials of the space. In the space, it is possible to feel the impact of diagonal chrome linear molding that takes place on the front side of Volvo cars. We integrate this diagonal issue with the design on Wall panel, floor, and bar section. Again natural pastel shades used in Scandinavian designs determine the colors of the space. Colder materials such as chrome and White marble are blended with hotter materials like massive and copper. Thus, the balance is provided inside the space. The emerging atmosphere is cool at first glance but when it is experienced, it is compatible with the user, relaxing and in a body.
